Inner Beauty is a Vineyard Women’s Conference for the Birmingham & Central Area. The speakers will be Alison Bird (Compass Vineyard Church) and Rosie McNeil (Network Vineyard Church- Birmingham). The afternoon will include some honest and encouraging stories from other women of what God is doing in their lives. We plan to have lots of time for worship and ministry.

There are so many contending voices which try to shape our identity, value and worth as women. We want this day to be about knowing and celebrating our identity as women of God, each of us uniquely shaped to enjoy God and serve Him.

Lunch will be a buffet (vegetarian option included).

I just want to thank everyone who contributed to the baby shower on Wed evening. I had a fab time, enjoying all the pampering and seeing so many people, and Germain and I were so appreciative of everyone's generosity with all the baby clothes and LUSH goodies that you bought for us as well as the individual gifts some of you gave to us. We are very excited about the imminent birth of our baby and looking forward to sharing some good news about this very soon! You are a great church to be part of. A massive thanks everyone.

Just wanted to post a quick thank you for Sunday night's Movie Night. I know I was one of the more reluctant attendees and had to be dragged from my Sunday night comfort zone...but hey that sofa's mighty comfy. I realise that the task of trying to find all the right clips to support ideas and spark discussion is a huge task even with a genre that Nick clearly enjoys, but he'd done his research and it showed. And although I may not have been the most vocal it certainly made me think in ways I haven't done before. Is Spiderman braver than Superman because of his frailty, is a hero defined by the risk of loss? Big Questions for sure. And is Batman a Hero, or merely a well equipped Crime Fighter?
Anyway, a good night with interesting discussions....good on 'yer mate, and a big Thank you.
