Just got back from Coventry City Centre where we had our first "healing on the streets" event.
Through some fear and trepidation we got out there and offered to pray for healing for people right there on the street.
Thanks to everyone who turned up. It was extreme church! Who's up for round two?!!

It sounds like a day of excitment and trepidation.
You havn't said what happened. Did you pray for anyone? IF you did, was anyone healed?
Warmly

Hi Steve
Good to hear from you. Probably about 20 people got prayer, don't know the result, I'm still waiitng for reports in from everyone else. It seemed to be well received by most.

Round 2.... bring it on!!
Great to see, and witness Christians getting out of their "comfort zones". How can our faith grow, how can we ever learn to trust God unless we are willing to lay our fears aside and get into deeper water with Him. Well done you guys (m/f)
so Nick....what happened? i love that stepping out and seeing what God might do...but i still wanna know...what happened?
and, for the record, i will join you for a round...well, maybe someday.
peace

I prayed for a lady who had breast cancer, a lady who had pain in her hips and legs, and a lady who just wanted the tears to go away.
One of the ladies had a friend with her who said she could relly feel it when we were praying.
Excellent.
I'm really please that people were happy for you to pray for them, and that God seems to have been at work in a number of ways.
I'll look forward to hearing more :)

Just popped in to have a look at details etc about the Vineyard- hey this reaching out and doing Kingdom business in the market place is really encouraging- time to hit the psyhic fairs next! Its good to see a Vineyard locally as well
maybe visit soon
Thanks Ian, Round 2 will be happening in the new year, we don't want to be fair-weather-followers-of-Jesus or anything but I think praying on the streets will be better received when we are not knee deep in snow (please God, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!). Sorry, came over all Christmasy then.
We have a big banner with HEALING on it, which of course will freak some people (in church) out, but gets the point across! The plan is to do more of "The Stuff" and we've been asked to do the same thing at the Godiva festival alongside the Reiki stand, Yoga stuff and people with vibrating crystals. I want to do Psalm Reading!!!
Anyway, thanks for the comment.
